Chaque objet encore sous
emballage de cellophane. Une étiquette de prix indique l‘endroit où l‘achat
fut effectué : un magasin de bricolage. Questions :
1) À quelle occasion ce matériel a-t-il été acheté?
2) par qui?
3) éventuellement, pour quoi?
4) Quel motif aurait été peint s‘il l‘avait été?
5) Pour quelle raison s‘est-on débarassé de ce matériel?
Ces questions je me les suis posées, et je te les soumets. Les réponses
(une par question) que tu pourras apporter permettront (qui sait?), sinon
de résoudre l‘énigme, du moins de s‘approcher d‘une solution possible.

1) Zu welchem Anlass wurde das Material gekauft?
2) von wem?
3) eventuell für wen?
4) Welches Motiv wäre gemalt worden, wenn es gemalt worden wäre?
5) Aus welchem Grund wurde das Material entsorgt?
Diese Fragen habe ich mir selbst gestellt und lege sie dir vor. Die Antworten
(eine pro Frage), die du geben mögest, werden (wer weiß?), wenn schon nicht
das Rätsel lösen, so doch zumindest einer möglichen Lösung näher kommen.

2) By whom?
3) Possibly, for whom?
4) What design would have been painted if it had been painted?
5) Why was it disposed of?
I've asked myself these questions, and I'm submitting them to you. The answers
you come up with (one for each question) will (who knows?), if not solve the
enigma, at least get us closer to a possible solution.
